Trending Videos

The Trending Videos widget mimics the 'Trending Videos' widget on the home page. There is no way to control the content, it is as it comes. It should only be added to a sidebar on a channel or video if it needs to show exactly the same information, otherwise you should use the Video Teaser Widget.

Configuring your widget

Before you can set up this type of widget you need to complete the instructions in the Sidebar guide and select the Element Type as Content Listing.

Once you've done that you'll get a few fields which need to be completed.

For the dropdown labelled View you need to select Frontpage.

The next field to configure is also a dropdown labelled Display you have to select Trending Embed.

After that the widget is configured, you do not need to change anything in the Advanced Options.

If you want to restrict the number of videos shown, you can expand the Advanced Options and set the No of Items shown to what ever you require.

Now you just Save or Create your widget.
