Overview
Summary
Quizzes are used slightly differently for different regions. The differentiations are noted below, but generally a quiz needs to be created, then attached to a video. From here is where the differences start.
South Africa
For South Africa, quizzes are used to verify video content. In other words after a video has been watched, it is still unverified until the attached quiz has been successfully completed within 24 hours of watching the video.
Once this is done, the CPD entry in the statement goes from being unverified to verified, and there is NO separate entry for the quiz on the Statement. There are also points assigned to the quiz and upon successful completion these points appear on the individual statement downloads for a CPD entry.
UK/Europe/Asia
For the UK (and Europe/Asia) quizzes hold a duration value. Upon completion of watching the video and completing the quiz (successfully) the duration is awarded to the User as a quiz entry on their CPD Statement.
US/Canada
On the US quizzes are used to accredit videos. Once they've watched a video, they complete the quiz. If they get a pass mark, it accredits the video for them and if the quiz has been configured so, it will also send them an email with their certificate.
US quizzes contain Program IDs which are included as part of the Quiz submission. They are set on the quiz entity (when you edit the title). They appear on the quiz results as separate columns.
As of the Phoenix site for the US, once a quiz is successfully completed users will automatically get an email containing their certificate. For more information on how to do this, please follow this guide.
