Linking to a Channel

Before you continue with this guide you need to have started creating a video record. You can do this with a Media Manager video which is with our video management platform, or a Third Party video/embed.

Linking your video page to a channel

Adding a channel to your video is a requirement to save the video page. The video will appear on any channels that have been added to it.

Selecting a Channel is optional on the US

If you are working on a US video, adding a channel is optional. Videos without a channel will still be saved, but they will not appear on any channel pages but will show on the home page.

To add the relevant channels start typing the name of it in the field, the field autocompletes so you can select your channel once it appears on the list.

To add the video to additional channels click Add another item and complete the new field that will appear.

Repeat the steps as necessary until all channels the video should appear on have been added.

Can't find a channel

If the autocomplete field for the channel isn't coming up as you type, there will be two reasons for this, either the channel doesn't exist, or it has been unpublished. Unpublished channels cannot be added to videos.
