Uploading files to generate links

When required you can upload files directly to Phoneix to generate a URL. This can be used as a download link for documents you want to make available via text accompanying other content such as videos or articles. Or it can be used to generate image URLs to be used in HTML for bulletin Emails etc.

Uploading files

To upload files go to Admin > Content > Files. The page will list previously uploaded files with options to "Upload image" or "Upload document" at the top of the page. Click the relevant option for your file. Alternatively you can go directly to adding a file by navigating to Admin > Content > Media > Add Media. When you make your selection complete the form and upload your file.

To retrieve the URL go to Admin > Content > Files. Your newly uploaded file should appear at the top of the list (if it doesn't seem to be there, try using the filters to locate it). Right click on the blue text showing the filename and click "Copy Link Address" and you can now paste the URL where required.
