Live Streams

Livestreams for Asset TV can now be provided by Media Manager.

This guide explains how to setup a livestream on Asset TV. If you are setting up a Live Event, please see the Creating a Live Event guide.

Instructions

To set up the Media Manager livestream, follow this guide in the Media Manager docs. Then copy the token as you would for a normal video.

Adding a livestream to Asset TV is the same as adding a video. There is no difference in the process, here is the guide for creating a video record.

The only difference is that the video will be a livestream rather than an on demand video when you visit the page, so you should set the Premier date and time, otherwise users may get a 'Stream not active' message.

Once you've configured the Premier date and time, users will get a countdown instead of the 'Stream not active' message.
