Adding a member to a team

Team CPD/CE managers should be able to add members manually using the Administration tab under their Team CPD pages. The Asset TV Support Pages detail how to do this.

There may be some circumstances where they want team members added without the invitation email step. We can therefore 'force' a user to be a member of a team.

To force a user into a team they must already be registered for Asset TV. If they haven't then this will need to be done before you can manually add them.

Forcing a member on to a team

  1. Once you know the user has been registered you can go to Content > Team Management.
  2. On that page click edit on the relevant team you wish to add the user to.
  3. Under the Members tab click Add new member.
  4. Enter your user's email address into the User field (this should autocomplete as you type).
  5. Enter their Name in the Name field.
  6. Set the Status dropdown the "Active" checkbox.
  7. Once done click Save and your user will be a member of that team.
  8. We recommend Masquerading as the user to ensure they've been added.
