Term Grouping
Summary
For analytics purposes you may need to group some terms under a parent term for reporting.
This guide will tell you how to do that.
Instructions
Make sure you are logged as an admin before you begin.
Navigate to Content > Athena Reports
.
At the top of the page, click the terms
link to view a list of all the parent terms.
Editing a term group
On the next page you can edit any of the term groups and add new terms to it.
You do this by starting to type the term name in the last available autocomplete field under the list of terms.
Creating a new term group
To create a new term group, you first need to visit the term list.
Go to Admin > Content
, then when the page loads on the sub navigation, click Taxonomies
.
Find the term you want to make into a group and click the actions dropdown at the end of the row.
In the menu that appears, select Add child
.
You'll need to complete this form and save the term.
Now you can use the 'Editing a term group' section to add more to this term group.
