IT at Think Digital Group

The majority of IT operations are managed centrally, from the UK, by the Technology Team. As well as managing the development, management and infrastructure of the Think Digital Group, the Technology Team also provides IT support to the other companies in the group.

Software and Licensing

The following software and licenses are managed and issued by the Technology Team:

  • Google Workspace (Email, Calendar, Drive, Docs, Sheets, Slides, Meet, Chat, etc.)
  • Microsoft Office 365
  • Trello (anyone may join our company Trello account by following this link)
  • Teamwork Desk (support ticketing system)
  • Zoho CRM (via the Data Team)

The following are NOT managed by the Technology Team:

  • Adobe Creative Cloud
  • Zoho Expense, Books, etc.
  • Zoom (we recommend where possible you use Google Meet instead)

If you require any of the above software, please contact your line manager.

Note

Please carefully consider if you really need Microsoft Office 365. Except the accounts team, most of your work should be able to be completed using Google Drive/Docs. It can import and export Microsoft Office files and is compatible with Microsoft Office.

Hardware

Hardware is only centrally managed for the UK office. If you are based in another country, please contact your line manager for assistance. We do not have a dedicated IT administrator and as such would ask that you please follow the below guidelines:

  • Please look after your equipment and keep it in good condition. If travelling, please ensure you have a suitable bag to carry your equipment in.
  • Please do not install applications for any other purpose than work. If you require an application for work, please contact your line manager.
  • Most of your day-to-day work can be done inside Google Chrome without the need for any other application to be installed or used.1
  • If you require any assistance with your hardware please ensure when contacting the support desk you include the following information:
    • Make and Model of hardware
    • Serial Number
    • Operating System including version

  1. Marketing, Editors and Developers may require additional software to be installed. Please contact your line manager for assistance.
